Avocados
The avocado is a versatile fruit, simple to prepare and easy to eat. It is perhaps the exotic fruit that least lives up to this title, as its uninterrupted presence throughout the year on the market has made it so popular that it has become part of most consumers’ diets.
At Provelpack, we take care to keep our customers stocked throughout the year. To this end, we market domestic avocados from September to May, and from April to November, we import avocados from Peru and Chile.
Nutritional properties
It is a very high-energy and protein-rich food that vegetarians use as a substitute for proteins usually obtained from meat, eggs, or cheese. However, its high-quality fat does not increase cholesterol.
The flesh is very rich in mineral salts (iron and copper), organic acids such as folic acid, and vitamin E, with antioxidant properties. It is also low in sugar, making it suitable for diabetics.
Mango
Mango is a fleshy and sweet fruit characterised by its high magnesium and pro-vitamin A and C content. Its important nutritional qualities and its versatility make it one of the most consumed fruits in the world in its different varieties.
Mangoes contain carbohydrates, sugar, dietary fibre, vitamins, iron, calcium, and many other important minerals that provide our bodies with antioxidant and anti-carcinogenic properties, protecting us from various diseases.

From the field to your table
We have ripening chambers that allow us to offer a “ready-to-eat” product and specialised machinery for contemporary types of packaging such as trays using Flow Pack or stretch film. We also have an organic production line, certified by the Andalusian Committee for Organic Agriculture.
We have a 3,000 m² facility, modern and excellently located right next to the Mediterranean Highway in the municipality of Vélez-Málaga, a place that represents the nerve center of avocado production in Spain.
